Common questions
What payment methods does TAV support?
TAV supports bank transfer for all regions. EU invoices show your IBAN. US invoices show routing and account numbers. You enter bank details once in Settings and they appear on every invoice. No processing fees from TAV. Your client pays directly to your bank account — full invoice amount, no platform cut, no transaction charges.
Does TAV charge transaction fees?
No. TAV charges a flat $49/month for the Professional plan. There are no per-invoice fees, no per-client fees, and no transaction fees from TAV. Your payment processor may have their own fees, but TAV does not take a cut of your payments. The full invoice amount goes to your bank account.
How does automatic payment follow-up work?
When an invoice passes its due date, TAV sends reminders to your client automatically. First at three days overdue, then at seven days, then at fourteen days. Each reminder references the invoice with a link for the client to view it. You see the status of every reminder in your dashboard: sent, opened, clicked. When payment is marked as received, reminders stop.
Does TAV work for US and EU freelancers?
Yes. TAV supports freelancers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Invoices, contracts, and payment details are formatted for your region. EU freelancers get IBAN fields and VAT handling. US freelancers get routing numbers and EIN fields. Your clients can be anywhere — regional settings apply to your business identity.
How quickly do I get paid?
Payment timing depends on your client and their payment method. Bank transfers typically clear in 1-3 business days for domestic payments and 2-5 days for international. TAV does not hold or process your funds — payments go directly from your client to your bank account. Automatic reminders help reduce days-to-payment by keeping invoices visible.
