Common questions
Does my client need to create an account?
No. Your client accesses their portal through a secure link. No account to create, no app to download, no password to remember. They click the link and see every document you have shared: proposals, invoices, signed contracts. The portal updates automatically as you send new documents.
What can clients see in their portal?
Everything you have shared with them. Proposals with accept/decline actions, invoices with payment status and due dates, signed contracts with download options, and a complete document history. Each document shows its current status. Clients can view, download PDFs, and pay invoices directly from the portal.
Is the client portal branded?
Yes. Your business name, logo, and contact details appear on the portal. TAV branding is invisible to your client. They see a professional, branded experience that looks like your own back office. Upload your logo once in Settings and it appears across the portal, invoices, contracts, and proposals.
Can clients pay invoices from the portal?
Yes. Outstanding invoices show the amount, due date, and your payment details. EU clients see your IBAN. US clients see routing and account numbers. Clients pay directly to your bank account. There are no processing fees from TAV and no platform cut.
Is the portal secure?
Yes. Each portal is private to that client. There is no cross-client visibility. Access is controlled through secure, unique links. All document actions are logged: when a document was viewed, downloaded, or signed. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Automatic backups and DDoS protection are included.
