By using TAV, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. Definitions
- TAV: The freelance administration software operated by TAV GROUP LLC
- Service: The software and tools available at usetav.com
- User / You: The freelancer who creates an account on TAV
- Client: Your client — the party you invoice or contract with through TAV
- Account: Your personal access to the Service
- Document: Any invoice, offer, or contract created or sent through TAV
2. What TAV Does
TAV is a software tool for freelancers to manage their business. We provide:
- Invoice creation, sending, and payment reminders
- Offer creation and client acceptance workflows
- Contract management with digital signatures
- Client management
- Time tracking
TAV is not a marketplace. We do not connect you with clients or facilitate work. You use TAV as an administrative tool for your existing client relationships.
Documents you send through TAV display your business details only. TAV operates as invisible infrastructure.
3. Who Can Use TAV
TAV is available to independent professionals, including sole proprietors, freelancers, and single-member entities. To use TAV, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a registered business or operate as a self-employed professional
- Have a bank account in your name or your business name
- Have the legal authority to enter into contracts
4. Pricing
4.1 Subscription
TAV operates on a subscription model. After your first document send (which is free), continued use requires an active subscription at $49 per month, billed monthly through Stripe.
4.2 What Is Included
Your subscription includes unlimited access to all TAV features: invoicing, offers, contracts, client management, and time tracking.
4.3 Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
4.4 Tax Responsibility
You are responsible for your own tax filings and compliance. TAV calculates VAT/tax amounts based on your settings, but does not verify their accuracy. You remain responsible for correct tax reporting to the relevant authorities.
5. Your Obligations
5.1 Accurate Information
You are responsible for ensuring that:
- Your business details (tax ID, address, bank details) are correct
- Your documents (invoices, contracts, offers) contain accurate information
- You only invoice for legitimate services rendered
5.2 Prohibited Use
You may not use TAV for:
- Illegal activities of any kind
- Invoicing for services not actually provided
- Tax evasion or fraudulent constructions
- Reselling or sharing your account access
5.3 Account Security
TAV uses passwordless authentication via magic links sent to your email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account and for all activity that occurs under your TAV account. Notify us immediately at support@usetav.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
6. Our Rights and Responsibilities
6.1 Availability
We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. TAV may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, technical issues, or third-party service disruptions.
6.2 Changes to the Service
We may add, modify, or remove features. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email.
6.3 Support
Support is available at support@usetav.com. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
7. Data and Privacy
You are the data controller for client data you enter into TAV. TAV is the data processor acting on your behalf.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement, which you agree to by using TAV.
You can export all your data or delete your account at any time.
8. Intellectual Property
TAV, its software, branding, and code are the property of TAV GROUP LLC. Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service.
You retain all rights to your content — invoices, contracts, offers, uploaded documents, and client data. We claim no ownership over your content.
9. Liability
9.1 Limitation
TAV is not liable for:
- Disputes between you and your clients
- The quality of services you provide to your clients
- Incorrect information in your documents
- Tax liabilities or penalties
- Loss of revenue due to downtime
- Issues with third-party services (Stripe, email providers, etc.)
Our total liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim, up to a maximum of $500. This limitation does not apply in cases of willful misconduct by TAV.
9.2 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify TAV GROUP LLC from any claims, costs, and damages arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Termination
10.1 By You
You can cancel your subscription and close your account at any time via Settings. No notice period required.
10.2 By TAV
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, fraudulent use, or abuse of the Service. For non-critical violations, you will receive 14 days to resolve the issue.
10.3 After Termination
- You have 30 days to export your data
- Documents already sent to clients remain valid
- We retain legally required records (invoices, contracts) for 7 years
- All other data is deleted after 30 days
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are communicated at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you may cancel your account before the effective date at no cost.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Wyoming.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and TAV GROUP LLC.
If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of our rights.
