Common questions
Can I use TAV for fixed-price design projects?
Yes. Create a proposal with fixed deliverables and a total price. When the client accepts, the contract locks the scope. Invoice against the agreed amount — as a lump sum or split into milestones. TAV handles both hourly and fixed-price billing.
How does TAV handle revision rounds?
Define revision rounds in your proposal scope. TAV tracks the agreed deliverables. If the client requests work beyond scope, you create a change order and the contract updates. There is always a paper trail of what was agreed and what changed.
Do I need to use TAV for time tracking?
No. Time tracking is optional. If you bill fixed prices, skip the timer and invoice directly against deliverables. If you bill hourly, the timer feeds into your invoices automatically. Use whichever fits your workflow.
Can my clients see their project status?
Yes. Every client gets a portal showing all shared documents: proposals, contracts, invoices, and their statuses. Clients access it via a secure link — no account needed. They can sign, pay, and download from the portal.
Does TAV work for design agencies?
TAV is built for independent freelancers and small studios. If you work solo or with 1-2 collaborators, TAV covers your full workflow. Agency features with team management are on the roadmap.
